Senior Vice President & General Manager, Pharmaceutical Development Business Unit
In October 2011, Marc Hoffman, MD was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Pharmaceutical Development Business Unit at Theorem Clinical Research. Dr. Hoffman has strategic oversight for Theorem’s core CRO operation, including Project Management, Clinical Monitoring, SMART (Site Management And Patient RecruitmenT), as well as Pharmaceutics. He also oversees the company’s Medical Operations.
Most recently, Dr. Hoffman served as the Vice President, Medical and Scientific Affairs for Covance. Prior to Covance, he worked in various Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and Regulatory roles for such organizations as Hospira, Inc., Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Kendle and Parexel.
Dr. Hoffman earned his M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He went on to earn a Diploma of Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Royal College of Medicine and the University of Wales School of Pharmacy in the United Kingdom.
