John Potthoff, PhD
President and CEO
In October 2011, John Potthoff, PhD joined Theorem Clinical Research as President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Potthoff oversees Theorem’s global operations and is focused on continuing to drive the company’s specialization and long-term growth strategy, as well as ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
With 18 years of experience in the CRO industry, Dr. Potthoff has a strong drug development background. Most recently, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer at INC Research. There, he achieved record year-on-year profits, operationally integrated seven acquisitions, and also helped negotiate the sale of the business in 2010. Prior to INC Research, Dr. Potthoff was President and CEO of Tanistry, Inc., a niche CRO acquired by INC Research in 2001, and, spent seven years with PPD.
