Angelika Tillmann
Vice President, Global Clinical Quality Assurance & Compliance
In 2007, Theorem Clinical Research appointed Angelika Tillmann as Vice President, Global Clinical Quality Assurance and Compliance. In this role, Angelika manages and oversees all CQA related activities around the globe and thus establishes best practice standards for the global CQA organization.
Angelika's expertise and oversight extends over pertinent to the conduct of clinical trials, system and process audits, vendor qualification, preparation of clients and sites for inspections, advice on the impact and implementation of new regulatory requirements, compliance with current relevant regulations, corrective and preventive actions programs, risk assessments, SOP development, and presenting at training seminars and conferences.
Angelika joined the company in 1997 and has served in CQA positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President, International Clinical Quality Assurance. She has over 25 years of industry experience.
A graduate of the University of Essen in Germany, Angelika holds a degree in Laboratory Medicine. She is a Fellow of the British Association of Research Quality Assurance (BARQA) and a member of BARQA’s GCP Committee. She is also a member of the German Society for Good Research Practice (DGGF). She is the author of numerous industry publications and presentations.
