President and CEO of Omnicare Clinical Research Named to PharmaVoice Top 100 Most Inspirational Leaders of 2010

Omnicare Clinical Research is pleased to announce that Dr. James M. Pusey, President and CEO of Omnicare Clinical Research, has been named to PharmaVOICE magazine’s sixth annual Top 100 Most Inspirational Leaders of the life sciences industry. Each year, readers of the U.S.-based publication nominate and choose the distinguished group of inspiring honorees from a broad cross-section of industry sectors.
Dr. Pusey’s selection to the list stems in part from the recent dynamic change he has initiated at Omnicare Clinical Research since his appointment as President and CEO just several months ago. Almost immediately, he restructured the CRO into five distinct business units: Early Phase, Phase II/III, Late Phase, Medical Device and Pharmaceutics. Additionally, he integrated the operations of Clinimetrics Research Associates, another wholly-owned subsidiary of Omnicare, Inc., with Omnicare Clinical Research in order to offer clients an even more robust clinical services portfolio. The CRO is now focused on profitable growth, operational excellence and client satisfaction.
